'All things foodie - feature a food you associate with summer and sunny days (just to remind us of those summer feelings)
We're looking forward to drooling over strawberries and cream, icecream sundaes, and long, cool cocktails - we're sure you'll make our mouths water with your delicious cards, so please pop back and leave a message so we can see what you've come up with for this dare.'
As soon as I saw this dare I remembered that I had some cherry paper in my stash from yonks ago. This was brilliant because it meant that I could get on with it straight away!!!!
I cut out a wiggly border of cherries as I think the whole pages would have been too much. After hunting around for something to go with it I found a lovely big chippie cherry to play with. I painted it and then overstamped using a small paisley stamp. I decided not to emboss it as I am quite into matt at the moment (whoever he is!!!). So here is the finished card:::
Chipboard cherry from Basic Grey - undressed - Mellow
Thank you so much for looking XXX

Fab card Karen - weren't you the lucky one finding chipboard cherries in your stash! It looks great and the cherry borders are perfect.
"Cherry" nice! Looks really cheery and summery Karen, great job! Love the touch of paisley just showing on the leaves there.
Pretty card, love the cherry motif. Angela
This is a lovely version of this weeks's dare. Also love your Christmas Maze book, someone is sure going to be really chuffed with that. XX
Scrummy cherries, great card.
Yummy! I had thought about doing cherries, but didn't have any mojo when I pulled out my tiny cherry stamp... yours is an inspiration.
