DCM - Brrrrrrrr!!!!

This weeks dare has been set by the lovely Keryn who is very lucky and lives in New Zealand!

'In New Zealand at the moment it's winter and cold and dark. No snow here as temperatures don't get that low but still low enough that that's all anyone thinks about and anyone talks about. So this dare should be easy for those in the colder climes of the Southern Hemisphere but in the North it may be a little trickier. Use images, use colour, use embellishments that make you feel cold and remind you of winter.'

I don't know why I found this so difficult, after all it gets pretty cold here too!!! I tried not to do a Christmas card but in the end I caved in and used a giant chippie snowflake!!! I covered it with some 'cloudy' white paper and then attacked it with Stickles! Have been looking at it for a couple of days but you know how it goes ; the more you tweek the worse it will be hahahaha

I love the background paper...its a nearly black base covered with little scarfs, boots etc!!!
Background paper - American Traditional Designs - Snow Day - Winter Gear
Chipboard - one I got in a Bubbly Funk Kit last year
Thanks for looking and lets hope the weather gets better over in New Zealand and we eventually get our summer!!! X

I like how you didn't use a snowflake background paper--makes that gorgeous big one stand out even more so!
