Hi everyone!  Apart from my scheduled posts I have got myself behind on visiting everyone.  I am so sorry.   I am a bit poorly at the moment but hope that I will be round to see you all soon.

The Craft Barn Quote Challenge - FLOWERS
This fortnightly challenge is all about quotes and we provide you with a key word(s) to be included in your quote.  I have painted a Tando Creative daffodil to add to my 'hangy thingy' with the quote 'The Earth laughs in Flowers'

I added some bobble braid around the edge of the oval for a bit more colour and attached a ribbon to hang it by.  Its never too late to join in with this challenge!!!!!  You can build up a lovely set of quotes by looking through to see what others have used too!

Craft Barn Challenge - 'ART'

Hi, if ever there was a prompt for a crafter this one has to be on the top of the list doesn't it!  'ART' is the word for your quote this fortnight and its a chance to let our craftiness really come into play.  I am continuing with my 'hangy whatsits' and have used a stamp by PaperArtsy.  Of course I have added some collage as well.

I haven't actually done much collage for years and had to be careful not to overload haha!

Craft Barn Quote Challenge

Hi all!  Two weeks have gone by and the Craft Barn Quote Challenge has come around again!  This time we are asking for a quote/lyric with the words MARRIAGE and/or AGE featuring.  I have chosen 'marriage' for mine.  Well actually, the word is 'married' :-D  I have used a large Tando Creative heart with some teensy ones for decoration.  The quote has been computer generated, not sure who said it but  like it.

The background has been crackled with PaperArtsy Fresco paints and their crackle medium.  I stamped a tiny flower stamp around the edges.

This week the prompt words are STRONG and MISS (as in miss you).  Keeping to my theme I have made another hangy wotsit hahaha!

The Craft Barn Challenge - SILENCE

Yes, that's the next word prompt my lovelies.....SILENCE.  I did struggle a bit with this one as there are so many lovely quotes to be found for the word.  Avoiding the obvious 'Silence is Golden'  I chose this one to go on my hangy thingy...

I was a bit diapointed with the Lynne Perrella stamp directly onto the paint but I think it will be ok.  I was looking for an Oriental feel to match the author.
